FAQs

  • There is no prerequisite level of fitness that we ask for when joining Fortress. We do ask, however, that if you are unsure of how to use any of the equipment on offer; to please share this with one of the coaches so that they can assist you.

    If you are looking for particular support and we don't have it (yet), we will do what we can to find it for you! Whether that is the right PT, Physio, chiropractor, yoga instructor etc.

    At Fortress, we believe it is vital to bring the local community together - whether under the Fortress roof or from further afield.

  • Children can join from 16 years of age or 12 years of age if joining with adult supervision.

    We also have a 'chill out' area, should you be in need to train but are not yet able to leave your children at home.

  • Depending on the injury, your plans may be adaptable. If you are working with outside support (chiro/physio etc) please share this information with our coaches so that we can support you with your training.

    If, for any reason, you require time away from training due to injury, we can freeze your membership. The last thing we want is for members to feel pressure and added stress.

  • When you sign up to Fortress, you will be asked to download our membership app. When you want to enter the facility, the app will generate a unique QR code that will open the gym door. We do also have Fobs available if you prefer.

  • Absolutely! You can purchase a day pass.
